Two of the hardest riders in the WorldSBK put on a spectacular show in front of the partisan Italian crowd!
Toprak Razgatlioglu (Turkish Puccetti Racing) had been a relatively quiet aspect of the 2019 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship until he arrived at Imola – the Turkish Puccetti Racing team’s home round. Refusing to back down out of the podium positions, the 22-year-old took on Dutchman Michael van der Mark (Pata Yamaha WorldSBK Team), with the two colliding in the closing stages, whilst brawling ahead of Leon Haslam (Kawasaki Racing Team WorldSBK). The podium for Toprak would be the first in a run of four rounds where he has featured on the rostrum!
